“ First restaurant of 2025! Went here on New Year's Day! Drove all the way out to Chantilly from Gaitherburg coz I was craving some spice and loads of carbs! Heard from a friend that they have good Biriyani. What is a Biriyani, you ask? It's a layered, rich , aromatic, spicy rice dish. It can be chicken, lamb, veggie, egg etc biriyani. We were a pretty large group so we ordered a bunch of stuff. And I have to say every dish was phenomenal, but the Biriyani! The Biriyani was so so, and we had chicken B and egg Biriyani, both were just average. All the other dishes were lip smacking , finger licking good. My fav was the salt and pepper mushroom, crunchy and flavorful. We also ordered dal makhani (lentil), Bhindi masala (okra) , both were so good. Also had chicken tikka masala for the kids, yumm! Peanut masala, szhezwan noodles, Gobi Manchurian ( cauliflower) and finally topped it off with apricot bread pudding. The Biriyani lacked the depth I was expecting. The rice was too plain and lacked flavor. My recommendation... go to Biriyani and order anything but Biriyani and you will have a hit. Every other dish was flavorful, spiced just right and delicious! The ambience in the restaurant is really good too. Comfy seating , great decor and attentive staff! ”
“ Very satisfying food. Service is fine. Gorgeous interior. + Garlic Naan + Butter Chicken + Chicken Tikka Masala + Biryani ”
“ Great chicken vindaloo, a little hot. Loved the Gobi Manchuria. Butter chicken was also well done. Totally enjoyed the experience ”
“ The ambiance is the best I have seen for an Indian restaurant in Northern Virginia. Service is very quick but needs to be polished on the service aspect. For example no one came to check and see how the food was after it was delivered. All of the food was good except for the chat which was too dry and the biryani that lacked flavor. The naan, tandoori chicken and the chicken in curry leaves were my favorite. Prices are also very reasonable especially these days. Will definitely be back. ”
“ Had avoided this place for a long time due to bad reviews, but it seems like it has come under new management and been born again. You get lots of food for the price and the flavor is authentic. I also quite like how when it gets busy, they have someone sitting outside with the to-go orders so as to not crowd up the restaurant. My friend and cousin of the owner recommended the Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken, which did not disappoint! The butter chicken was deliciously creamy and absolutely melted in my mouth. Along with the garlic naan, I was already in heaven. Then the chicken 65 came in with a bit of spice to bring me back to earth, just so I could experience heaven again. If you are going to order for dinner, try to order a while before you want to eat because it can take a while for them to make your order once they get busy. If you were like me and avoiding Biryani Grill, do yourself a favor and go try it out now! It's great to have a delicious and local Indian spot in Stone Ridge. ”
“ Ordered Paneer Lababdar and Veg pulao. Food was really good. We enjoyed both the dishes. Ambience is also very good. One a different occasion , I had taken samosas to-go for a party. It was a party favorite for my friends. ”
“ Review are old. If you know you know. Place is packed. Food and vibes are amazing and service is good and quick. They have soooo much staff on hand. ”
“ There was a waiting for this place on a Sunday night, but totally worth the wait - amazing food, excellent service and great ambience! Our friends recommended this restaurant as it had become their regular hangout place in Aldie, so we heard a lot about it. The food was delicious, perfect amount of spiciness for my Indian palette. As a north indian I found the south indian influence refreshingly different, making me want to try everything as it was a great change from the usual mughlai style Indian food. This place is great to hangout with your friends for dinner and drinks, they have a full fledged bar - try the peanut masala to go with their cocktails. We are definitely coming back for more ! ”
